Jordan and I stayed home. He was a complete angel. It was awesome. He even went garage saling with me and was so good.
Saturday night Carter woke up in the middle of the night with a nasty cold. I stayed home from church with him since we were up all night long with him coughing and not breathing well. He did perk up midday though and I took the boys to a pumpkin patch. When we got there though, there was a teenage boy outside and he said they didn't officially open for 3 more days. All the pumpkins were right there in front of me, but he wouldn't sell me any. I tried to plead with him and told him my two toddlers were in the back of my truck and were really excited to pick one out, but he said he didn't know the prices and couldn't do it. What a punk!
Carter threw a nasty fit after that and called me a mean mommy. I tried to tell him it wasn't I who said he couldn't have a pumpkin. I told him we could go to Wal-Mart. All the sudden he was in a happy mood. Mmm hmmm...
They had either extremely small pumpkins at Wal-Mart or giant ones. Of course we got the big ones. The boys loved it!
We also stopped over at Lutheran Hospital to see Hunter. He was in a great mood, and 5 mintues after we got there, my brother Lance and his family showed up. That was pretty cool.
