Saturday was a great day. I met my parents at Starbucks in the AM and around lunch our family headed over to their new apartment complex and swam for a couple hours. It was a perfect day. That evening we had dinner and hung out with some friends of ours. Sunday we headed to Ohio after church and hung out with Nik's parents. They kept the boys for us that night and we were able to head over to another friends' house in Napoleon. The boys had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa B. They went out to eat, visited with Great Grandma Burkhardt and went to the Imagination Station for a while. Today, Monday was great too despite the rain. The kids were entertaining as always. Every time it started pouring, they all ran to the garage. Corn hole was great, although being pregnant, it took so much out of me, but Lance and I still kicked butt, winning 3 out of 4 games. :) It was a great day with family!
Last summer we decided to cut our rose bush on the side of our house all the way to the ground because it was majorly overgrown. It was very hard to clean the leaves under it as well because of being so large and prickly. I think only a few roses ever grew on it. Well, I walked outside tonight to find that there were several roses on it this time and they are so pretty! I also included a picture of one of our peony flowers in the last picture. I thought they were all "picture worthy."

I haven't posted in a month. Sometimes you just need a break, especially when you are pregnant. :) Hard to believe I only have 9 more weeks until I get to meet our special little baby! Well, Mother's Day was wonderful this year. Nik bought me a very pretty bouquet of flowers and made me my favorite dessert! What could be better than chocolate covered strawberries! Oh gosh. He made me 2 cookie trays full and I shared only a few of them with the kids. I literally ate them in 2 days. Also during Mother's Day weekend, we always get to enjoy Savannah's ballet recital. She did three dances this year, two of which included her in a "Napoleon Dynamite" inspired costume. It was a fun geeky dance that she really got into. The other costume was a beautiful tutu. I will have to have her dress up in it and I will take pics of her at the park soon.
