Jordan: Can we get up now?
Carter: No. Let's just stay here with our eyes open until our parents get up.
This week the boys have been dealing with the flu and I have been giving them Pedialyte. Carter said to me several times. Can I have some more Delight?
And then today, Nik spent time putting together new bunk beds for the boys. I will post pictures soon. But I have been down here typing and since putting them to bed, they have been jabbering to each other nonstop. Here is part of their conversation.
Jordan: Is it the weekend?
Carter: Today is Monday. Tomorrow we have church and after church it will be Sunday.
Carter: Jordan, what do you feel like doing tomorrow? Do you want to eat cake and open presents?
Jordan: Yes, let's eat cake.
Mommy: BOYS, it's time to be quiet!
Carter: We will in a minute mommy. We are just talking.

For Ab...have you ever heard the quote, "You spend the first year of their life trying to get them to walk and talk and the next 20 years to get them to sit down and shut up." Hehe!!! Enjoy the silence...!!! :)

They are so cute...the girls talk most of the night and we have to tell them to go to bed and they are 11 and 8
I am so behind on reading your posts but this was so cute! I love it when you blog on what they say! I think they should bring back that show "Kids say the darnest things!"
