Easter Sunday was a very busy day for us. The kids woke up at 7:30 and headed downstairs to find their Easter baskets and hunt for eggs. And Nik had to leave early for church because this month we are doing a series called DJ Culture (a.k.a. discipleship journey not disc jockey). So Nik was asked by our pastor (who loves techno music) to spin records on stage before service and during the 5 minute break before the sermon. Nik was more than happy to. After service we headed to Kendallville for lunch at Grandma and Grandpa Baker's house. Grandpa Burkhardt wasn't feeling well that day though, so we missed him. And Savannah was just getting back from spring break in Florida, so she was very missed too! The kids enjoyed an egg hunt there as well. Lunch and the weather were just great. It was a good day to celebrate Jesus!

It was a long video, so in order to upload it, I had to minimize the MB and the quality isn't that great.
Barb and Eric came over for supper on Friday night and brought me this beautiful flower bouquet. The picture doesn't do it justice.
I call this picture the "Ric Stiver" pose. :) Love you dad! haha
This last picture was of the kids with Grandma Burkhardt at Grandma Baker's house. I tried to get them all to smile, but it didn't work out as planned. I think the picture is hillarious though.

Great post!!! Hey...do you all know what you are having yet...or are you not finding out?????
I'm thinking you guys should make a habit out of coming to 1st service...I'm just saying :)
The last pic cracked me up!!! That's a priceless picture!!!
@Sara - Unfortunately I didn't get to find out the sex at my last appt. So I am hoping I find out on the 23rd of this month. We'll see.... I am running out of patience!
@Erica - We would consider it coming to first service, but they don't provide kids worship for 1st service and my boys have to go into the toddler room. I think its dumb, and they should both be identical services, but I know we have limited help right now, so we will just wait until things change.
