Soaked
Last night I was watching a movie and I heard crying from upstairs. Carter used to wake up a few times a week in the middle of the night, but within the last 3 months, he has slept like a champ. Well, to my surprise, he was the one crying, so I ran up there and asked him what was wrong. He just stared at me with fear and kept crying. I said, "Did you have a bad dream?" No answer... More crying.... "Are you sick?" "No!" (More crying continued). The boys only have a lava lamp for a nightlight in their room, so its not very bright in there, but I happened to look down at his legs and his pants were COMPLETELY SOAKED. For some reason, I immediately started laughing and told him it was okay and that he must of dreamed that he had to go the bathroom. But then it dawned on me.... How could I forget that about an hour before bedtime, he asked me if he could drink a bottled water, which he managed to gulp down in about 2 minutes flat. I remembered that he went to the bathroom after he drank the water, but I guess that wasn't enough. LOL!!! After I changed his clothes, he managed to calm down and go back to sleep. I think he was half afraid that I was going to be upset with him, but also he is very anal about having anything on his clothes. So I went back downstairs. About 15 minutes later, he was crying again. I thought, what now! And when I ran up there, he said, "I have to go the bathroom" (which he never asks usually, he just goes)... So I said, "Well, go boy, go!" I stood there with him and I think he peed for about 2 whole minutes. I just kept laughing. Poor kid. :) The rest of the night was quiet.

poor kiddo! I'm sure he appreciated you laughing at him! haha!!
Ryan wakes up sometimes too...but he just wants to climb into our bed, it's getting really frequent and really annoying, it mainly started after having Molly! I hope the stage is very short lived!
Oh boy... I'm just ready for my boy to be INTERESTED in using the potty. Kenzie has pulled the middle of the night pee thing before but she has a really hard time going back to bed. It will take her like an hour or 2 to fall back asleep! So sometimes we have to send her to bed a little thirsty :( Glad this isn't a continual thing for you at least!!
Yeah, Carter hasn't had a bed accident for 2 years! Thank the Lord! :)
This only happened due to the water he drank.
