Soaked
Last night I was watching a movie and I heard crying from upstairs. Carter used to wake up a few times a week in the middle of the night, but within the last 3 months, he has slept like a champ. Well, to my surprise, he was the one crying, so I ran up there and asked him what was wrong. He just stared at me with fear and kept crying. I said, "Did you have a bad dream?" No answer... More crying.... "Are you sick?" "No!" (More crying continued). The boys only have a lava lamp for a nightlight in their room, so its not very bright in there, but I happened to look down at his legs and his pants were COMPLETELY SOAKED. For some reason, I immediately started laughing and told him it was okay and that he must of dreamed that he had to go the bathroom. But then it dawned on me.... How could I forget that about an hour before bedtime, he asked me if he could drink a bottled water, which he managed to gulp down in about 2 minutes flat. I remembered that he went to the bathroom after he drank the water, but I guess that wasn't enough. LOL!!! After I changed his clothes, he managed to calm down and go back to sleep. I think he was half afraid that I was going to be upset with him, but also he is very anal about having anything on his clothes. So I went back downstairs. About 15 minutes later, he was crying again. I thought, what now! And when I ran up there, he said, "I have to go the bathroom" (which he never asks usually, he just goes)... So I said, "Well, go boy, go!" I stood there with him and I think he peed for about 2 whole minutes. I just kept laughing. Poor kid. :) The rest of the night was quiet.

Another ordinary day
Sorry for the lack of updating. There really hasn't been anything too exciting going on lately. Yesterday was a sad day with IU and the Colts getting beat. But we had some friends over and enjoyed it anyway. I ate way too much and had to turn in early cuz my stomach was so upset. Word to the wise: When your stomach says you are getting full, don't keep eating just because the food is so good. You will pay for it later! The boys got to stay up late because we had another pair of little boys over, but in the midst of all the fun and crazyness, Jordan got tuckered out and crawled into bed with me and went right to sleep. I loved it. He is still my cuddler even at almost age 4.
I am 16 1/2 weeks now and feeling great. I haven't felt the baby kick yet, but I usually don't until 18 weeks or so. I don't know how you felt your baby move at 12 weeks Sara. That's just insane. I have an appt. set for Friday, February 26th. I will be 19 weeks that day and hope to get an ultrasound done to find out the sex of the baby. I was worried that I wouldn't get one, but my nurse told me that our doctor always finds a way to get one done for "medical reasons." She said he usually doesn't like to go without a 20 week ultrasound just to make sure everything is alright. So I am sure he will give me one at 19 weeks. Oh I can hardly wait!
