What a great weekend. Both Saturday and Sunday, Nik got up with the boys so I could sleep in a bit. Sunday morning I was awakened by breakfast in bed. It brought me back to the days when I always made my mom 2 big pieces of toast with grape jelly. Hahah. Do you remember that mom? But this was quite the breakfast with bacon, eggs, and toast. Thank you boys!
Sunday after church we headed to Lakeside Park to meet up with the Eldens. As soon as we got there though, I heard someone calling my name, and to my surprise, it was one of my best friends Amanda Hubartt. She had her two daughters with her who I rarley see because they live in Indianapolis. It was great to laugh and talk with her. I miss you so much Amanda. The time went too fast. :)
We tried to get a picture of all the kids at the end, but the Ice Cream truck (I call it the curse haha) came by and of course, my boys got all upset and didn't want to pose or smile for a picture unless they had ice cream. (see photo below.) Amanda's girls remained perfect little angels. ;)
But at least I got a great picture with Amanda. :)
It was great seeing the Elden clan. Got to meet the new baby boys. Although they slept the whole time we were there. A nice break for the moms. :) It was great just to just chill at the picnic tables and talk. Addie and Parker are getting so big! Such cuties. What a great day!

beth, you are so beautiful! love that pic of u!
Oh, if we just had job and a house in Fort Fun.... We could curse the ice cream truck right along with you. There is not very many times I let the girls get ice cream from our people and if you saw them you would understand why. Sometime I will take a pic. of one of our ghetto ice cream vans coming by about 11pm. Come on, isn't it obvious you are selling more than ice cream?
I love the name Adalaide. I also think it's cute that she has her blanket. I hope we didn't take too much time away from your get together with friends - sorry Chris.
