I took Carter to the library last night after work. We have only been there a couple times, but we should go more often becasue they have so much to offer. It's a brand new facility and there is a nice cafe' nearby too. I was surprised to see about 10 kids there since it was around 8pm, but maybe they work full time like me.
The Playhouse. This was one of Carter's favorites. He loved putting those apples on the tree.
The Letter Tree with puzzles and blocks.
I asked Carter what the green stuff was on the left and he said Two Hundred Dollars mom. I have no idea where he got that number or how he even knew that was money. :)
This area was actually for 7 year olds or older. We were told to get down, cuz mommy forgot to read the sign. Whoops.

I love this picture. It was connected to the fish tanks.
Here is a slide that was carpeted. Dumb idea. Obviously you can't slide down carpet.
He loved looking at the fish.
Carter definately isn't shy. He went up to any kid he saw and wanted to play with them. There was actually one little girl who told him to get away from her and he told her she was rude!! Hahahahahah....

That library is awesome!! Great pictures.
Carter is so cool. One time in Sunday school (Asher's class) there were two girls that were not being too nice to him and at the end of class the teacher asked if any one had anything to pray about, Asher raised his hand and said, "These two girls right here need prayer, 'cause their not very nice." I love the honesty of little kids! Oh, and don't feel so bad - I didn't read the sign either - mommies that don't pay attention!!!!lol
Wow that's a great library!! I wish there was one here like that- Reghan would love it! Looks like Carter had lots of fun!
Man... I miss going to the library. :( Of course the libraries I went to were nothing like that, but hopefully it encourages kids to read.
Carter is so amusing - I'm still laughing thinking about him telling the little girl that she was rude...what did he think about mommy getting into trouble? Lvoe ya all, Cherie
