Friday night, Papa E stopped by to play with the kids for a while. Later on, he and Nik went to see the movie Transformers. They thought it was awesome. Saturday I had a baby shower in Kendallville for Nik's cousin, Ashley. It was a lovely shower with a ton of good things to eat. I actually went up for seconds, which didn't quite agree with me. Saturday night, Max and Amy came over with their 2 boys. Amy cooked us an amazing supper, although I ate my meal much later than everyone else because my stomach was still very upset. Sunday, after church, Lance and my parents stopped by to hang out for a bit. It was good to see them. These pics are from Friday night when Nik and his dad left for the movie.

Tom made me go to the Transformers movie on opening night with him. I really wasn't very excited as I'm not always a big fan of the comic-book type movies. BUT... I have to admit, the movie was pretty good. Although I thought there was some very unneccessary scantily clad women and an uncalled for discussion about masturbation. I hate it when they put stuff like that in movies that they know little kids are going to want to go see. Half our theater was kids under the age of 12. Okay... I'm getting off my soap box.
I loved Transformers. I did take Logan though and think it may have been a little much for him. but he said he loved it also. There were just times he looked a little scared!
I HATED it. Totally a guy movie in my opinion, but I'm a total chick flick girl.
